EXETER — UFO fanatics will unite at the fifth-annual Exeter UFO Festival on Saturday and Sunday.

The festival is organized in downtown Exeter and draws a crowd from across the country.

This festival raises money for the Exeter Area Kiwanis Club. All donations will allow UFO enthusiasts to listen to speakers on both days.

All profits for the events will go toward local children's charities, children's programs and community programs.

The festival is held in Exeter because of a famous 1965 incident where a UFO was seen flying around. Also, New Hampshire was where Betty and Barney Hill famously said they were abducted by aliens in 1961.

The weekend's events provide an educational experience for skeptics and believers of all ages.

Lectures will be held in Exeter Town Hall. Festival activities will be held outside of Town Hall and in Town House Common Park at the corner of Front and Court streets.
