A mysterious video, clearly showing three lights apparently "floating" over the US, has baffled internet users after it was posted online.

YouTube user Carmelo Valone filmed three bright lights from a plane window as he flew from Alquerque, New Mexico to Oakland, California.

He suggested the glowing orbs could be an alien spacecraft – and asked the internet for explanations.
